What is CommutePays?

CommutePays wanted to develop the ideal concept for a smart phone application that would appeal to commuters and that they would be likely to download and use as the Ultimate Commuter App.

By creating a unique virtual currency based on deviations in Users’ time spent in traffic that translates to being paid for frustrations when Traffic turns into a nightmare, CommutePays found a way to offer a solution to an age old problem. CommutePays wanted and ideal concept combing a logically interrelated cluster of Rewards and Promotions coupled with the “delay fighter” functions that make up the Personal Traffic Alerts.

The Application works best for subscribers that have regular use of a smart phone, are employed in a job outside their home, and commute to work by a private motor vehicle either alone or in a car pool. Ideally the user should commute to work at least four days per week and have a normal one-way commute time of at least 20 minutes and have a driver’s license, though biking, busing, and flying work with the app too.

In order to create the best user experience, CommutePays has focused on the product concept to incent certain kinds of behaviors so that subscribers view the app as an essential part of their morning and return commute ritual. The CommutePays goal is to have our prospect have fun with the App, use it regularly, check it frequently, visit our partners, and tell their friends about it.

CommutePays is supposed to be very easily understood as it combines functionality with a reward structure. This structure includes rewards in the form of redeemable virtual cash and daily deals to incent frequency of use. There will hopefully be other high value deals that users can bid on with their virtual cash in the future. The daily deals are for those local services and products that commuters find attractive.

CommutePays allows commuters to get valuable deals and rewards and provides tools to help commuters by-pass traffic delays.
